This project focused on consumption and was interpreted to create a selection of double-page spreads and cover page about fast fashion’s fundamental truths and the negative impacts it has. The project required extensive research into a broad range of editorial sources. I decided that the most appropriate place for my double-page spreads was within ID, a British magazine dedicated to fashion, music, art, and youth culture.

The project evokes a professional yet hard-hitting narrative, considering the tone of voice, composition, and typography alongside the use of photography and imagery. The visual approach uses a dark colour scheme and bold typography to portray the negativity of the issue and bring light to the hard-hitting fundamentals.
